Well I am baffold on how to deal with Japan when they get massive and tech.
You cant bomb them on there island unless you have long range.

I am looking for input on strategies to deal with Japan.

Sink their fleet and they are stuck.

Well usually when Japan gets huge they have Russia at that point, which you can bomb. At said point you should also pray that you have Germany and or take Germany within a round or 2 depending on if he has Russia. But on the latter, lets say you have Germany taken as the allies and he is sitting in Novo with a huge stack and 50-60% odds to take russia without HB. I still see the allies in this game, sure the HB will boost his odds to take it, but, he shouldnt have many units left and you can quickly pump out enough units to over run him and push him back. Unless you are playing a guy who really, really, knows how to play Japs with tek in that situation.

Thanks guys - I am actually looking for something a bit more specific in terms of what can be done before hand (before jap gets HVYS) to prevent a complete disaster.

I am thinking on things like perhaps placing a IC in asia rnd 1 or 2
Maybe creating a IC in SA and then sending the USA into pacific.

Anything that can be used to prevent Japan from ransaking all the allies IPC with HVYs
This is what I am after in terms of strategies

Take the USA into the Pacific. Buy a ton of subs and sink the Jap fleet. To deal with it they have to spend a ton on either navy or IC's. Either way, they can't spend 150 on tech and then ride hb's to the win.
